The Valley Stream Historical Society congratulates Valley Stream resident Robin Wilson on his induction in the Long Island Music and Entertainment Hall of Fame. Wilson is the frontman for the Gin Blossoms and more recently the Smithereens. The Afternoon Grifters, a band that includes his son Grey, also a musican, performed at the Pagan-Fletcher Restoration this summer at one of our "Sundays at Pagan" events.

Wilson grew up in Tempe, Arizona, and moved to Long Island in the ‘90s to be with his now ex-wife, Gena Rositano. He still lives here, raising his son, Grey Wilson, an aspiring musician and songwriter.
