Recycling Right

Recycling Right follows an alternating week schedule to reduce contamination.

 

Plastics marked #1 and #2, metal cans and bottles, and glass bottles are picked up together on your normal recycling day. Please use your recycling bin or a container of your choosing 32 gallons maximum to put your recyclables for pickup.

 

The following week newspaper, mail, magazines, soft covered books and plain brown cardboard are picked up together on your normal recycling day. Please use your recycling bin, paper bags, or tie-up your paper/cardboard recyclables for pickup. Please remember glossy or colored cardboard like food boxes, product boxes, juice cartons, or cereal/pizza boxes are NOT accepted.

 

*NO plastic bags of any kind can be accepted containing or in your recycling.*

*NO styrofoam, garden hoses, holiday, lights, or clothes hangers can be accepted in your recycling.*
