Valley Stream Community Garden

Thank you for your interest in becoming a member or volunteering at the Valley Stream Community Garden.

The Valley Stream Community Garden is located directly across from the intersection of Newbould Ave and E. Hawthorne Ave. For directions to the garden use the address 200 E. Hawthorne Ave. The launch of the community garden is tentatively scheduled for May 4, 2025. Paid membership provides access to the community garden, use of one planter, and use of shared amenities. At this time, we cannot guarantee the size of the planter your membership provides. Most planters will provide up to 48 square feet of planting space. Please read and fill out the application linked below. Also read and complete the Assumption of Risk & Release of Liability, and the Rules, Terms, and Conditions for Participation before submitting this application. Applications will be reviewed as they are submitted. The deadline for applications is April 18, 2025. You will be contacted regarding the status of your application no later than April 28, 2025. Payment options will be provided to applicants that are selected. You can submit your completed application in person at the Clerks Department, Village Hall 123 S. Central Ave, Valley Stream NY 11580, Monday through Friday 8am to 4pm, or via email to ced@vsvny.org
