It's Fare To Say: Stay Connected
Dear Friends,
One of the benefits of living in a Village is that your elected officials are always available. The Village Board and I appreciate feedback and communication from our residents! We take great pride at being fully involved and integrated in every aspect of The Village of Valley Stream. We are all Village residents with strong ties to our community.
Whether it’s participating in the many local community organizations (too many to list!), visiting houses of worship, summer concerts, car shows, the pool, Scouting activities, the dog park, checking-in on the community center, Camp Barrett, Firemen’s Field sporting events, senior citizen outings and school events, we try to be as helpful and accessible as possible.
Like you, we frequent our local restaurants and businesses throughout our community. We know that when we go to the grocery store it will also be an opportunity to connect with residents who have questions, concerns, or compliments. Be sure to check our official media outlets for up to date information and events! There is always something going on in our Village. Your Village Board and I enjoy attending Village sponsored events like the Memorial Day Parade, July 4th Fireworks, Veterans Day Ceremony, Black History Month events, Beautification Committee clean-ups, Winterfest activities, library events and so much more!
If you are unable to join your Village Board each month for our regular meetings, please know that there are many other ways to communicate with us. Our administration and staff are always eager to help. We hope to see you participating in all the Village of Valley Stream has to offer.
