Located behind the Village Hall Complex (123 South Central Ave.), adjacent to the railroad tracks.



 
Membership

  • The Village of Valley Stream Dog Park will be open to Incorporated Village of Valley Stream Residents and Central High School District #1
  • Members can bring guests
  • Annual membership fees are $22.00 for residents and $60.00 for CHSD #1
  • Town of Hempstead residents can join Dog Park - $125.00 Annual fee
  • Dog owners must register with the Village of Valley Stream's Clerks Department at the Village Hall and show proof of residency and current dog license and current vaccinations.  Dog owners will receive a pet owner identification card for access to the park.
  • Dog owners with receive a pet owner identification card to access the dog park for an additional fee of $10.

Guidelines


Respect the Park and Others

  • Keep an eye on your dog at all times.  You are responsible for your dog's actions.
  • Do not allow your dog to run and jump on other people or dogs.
  • Respect for the park and other dog owners will play an important role in keeping the park clean, safe and beautiful.

Obey the Rules and Regulations:

  • Dogs must be on a leash (no more than six feet long) at all times except in designated off-leash areas.
  • You must pick up after your dog and dispose of the waste in specially marked containers.
  • You must prevent your dog from chasing birds, squirrels and other animals.
  • Do not leave your dog unattended.
  • Do not tie your dog to benches, fencing, etc.
  • Dog owners must obey all Rules, Regulations and etiquette posted at the Dog Park.
